Painting for me is the only way to show my inner world to the audience. In the most of my works you can see a destruction of darkness and illuminance of places. I used darkness and dark colors in order to reflect the past of my country, where I grew up, as war, starvation, hardship, refugees and occupation of territories was a leitmotif of my childhood, which continues nowadays… Illiminance of places shows that there is always a faith within every person for better future, a wish to run away from darkness of loneliness and unite better world. Actually, it is accepting trauma and giving birth to something new through it.
